Can’t afford to guess? Place a BotShield Gate.

A gate on the moments that need a person — a signup, a checkout, a post, a shelf with an age on it. The visitor’s BotShield passkey answers: a person is here, and old enough when you ask. No ID upload, no face scan, no birthday.

Your first gate is free.

Boundaries

Make your boundaries enforceable.

You already decided what should not happen without a person — it is in your policy. What has been missing is something that holds the rule at the moment it matters. You choose where the line sits; a passkey is how it holds.

Read, never spend.

An agent works right up to the moment it would move money. There, a person answers — or it waits.

Draft, never send as them.

Anything that would leave under a customer’s name stops for that customer’s yes — a signed fact, keyed to your own account id.

Where you’d ask for a code, ask for a person.

A code travels with the session — whoever holds the tab can be asked for it, an agent included. A yes comes from the phone, on a passkey the session never held.

Every fake now takes a person.

Fakes scale because they’re cheap to make. A Human Gate makes each one take a live tap on a phone. A farm has to staff it.

BotShield Gate FAQ

What does a BotShield Gate actually do?
It asks — every time, of everyone. There is no mode, and no state in which someone passes without a tap on their own phone. Keeping a person signed in is your job; verifying a person is there when you ask is ours.
What can I set on a gate?
Two levers, and they are your policy. Passes per person — how many times one person may pass here: per day, per week, per 30 days, or ever. Been real for at least [n] days — distinct days that person has proved they are a person, anywhere. Not account age, not days signed in; an ID gains one day per day lived, so a thousand new identities fast-forward nothing.
What does an Age Gate add?
A threshold — 13, 18 or 21 — on top of the same two levers, read on the person’s phone during the passkey ceremony. Every verdict carries its grade: self-declared returns Unavailable; a guardian’s confirmation passes Over 13 only; Over 18 and Over 21 pass only on a check the platform already confirmed.
What comes back, and what do you keep?
A signed verdict you verify in your own code before you let the act through — no name, no email, no document. Gate records are kept 90 days, then deleted. Your registry shows LAST VERIFIED and nothing about who.
Do you hold anything biometric?
No. The check that unlocks the phone never leaves it. What we receive is a passkey signature — a WebAuthn assertion with user verification. No face template, no fingerprint, nothing to breach or subpoena.

The check, without the identity.

Your first gate is free. Add it in an afternoon and replace nothing you already run.
