Couchtour · tenant #1

Merch and band history, written by real people.

Couchtour is a social marketplace for music — buying, selling and trading with the people who were at the show. It runs on BotShield like any partner: one org, one key.

Couch Tour — the feed: a trade waiting on you, accepted with a passkey
What one org and one key buys

Three BotShield products. One marketplace.

Couchtour is a company reading this site, like you. It placed the gates, linked the accounts and let its agents ask — on the rails on the rest of this site. Nothing here is a special build.

01 · Verified Accounts

Every member linked once.

Link with BotShield and the account carries the chip: the mark + Verified. Received for linking, never earned by reviews. Comments, trades and every gate are for members.

02 · BotShield Gate

Every presale and drop is a door with a clock.

A gate placed by Couchtour, passed on the fan’s own phone. The gate returns a verdict, never a person. Ninety days on the fan’s BotShield list.

03 · The passkey in place

A show, a trade, an offer: one tap.

Where something is minted — a seat, a sealed trade, an accepted offer — the passkey signs it in place. No gate; nothing shuttles.

04 · Agents Ask

An agent buys for you. It asks first.

A member’s agent can hold a piece or buy it at member terms — each act arrives as a Request Card in the BotShield app, and waits for a yes.

MVP 1 · Events

Three kinds of event. One real person, once.

An artist posts a presale, a show or a drop — the same wizard on the app and on the console. A presale sends a member to the artist’s store with a code, or to their waiting room. A drop is a draw we cannot pick after the seal. A show is one seat, opened with a passkey — in the room, on the stream, or both. The season is the cycle: a summer tour, a winter tour.

Couch Tour — a presale: your code, shown once, and the ticket page it opens
Couch Tour — a drop: open, enter the draw with passkey
Couch Tour — a ticketed show, playing: one seat, the merch booth and the live chat

A presale and a drop are doors — gates with a clock, and a shuttle. A show is entered with a passkey; nothing shuttles.

01 · Sign up

A member — joined and linked, free.

No payment anywhere in the join. Link once with BotShield and every gate on Couchtour is yours to pass.

02 · Pass the gate

A real person, here, once.

The passkey answers on the fan’s own phone. The gate returns a verdict, never a person. A second account takes a real device, real money and real time.

03 · The pass sends you

Their store, their waiting room, or our draw.

A presale lands at the artist’s store with one code applied, or at the door of their waiting room. A drop is a draw we cannot pick after the seal. A show never shuttles: pay once, and your passkey opens one seat.

04 · What we can say

Every code we released went to a real person, once.

Every entry is a real human, once. We cannot pick the winner after the seal. A seat cannot be lent. A code left unredeemed goes back to the maker.

MVP 2 · The Merch Database

Their very own Merch Database, curated by Couchtour.

Every official piece an artist ever made, in one record — a Discogs for merchandise. Fans submit and vote; the maker rules. The chip says Official or Licensed; fan made sells like anything else, with no chip and no history. Every sale closed on Couchtour writes the piece’s record: price tracking, who holds it, the night it was first worn. Free to catalogue, on every plan.

console.couchtour.app/rising-wave-live/merch-db
The Couchtour console — the Merch DB: every piece, its chip, its market, and the data product card

The data product. A provenance record that only works because every account is a real person.

01 · Official only

The maker rules the catalogue.

A submission lands in the Merch DB at once; Couchtour never approves. The maker merges, corrects, or takes a piece off its channel — and the seller is told the artist’s team wanted it off.

02 · The chip

Official · Licensed · no chip.

A licensed piece carries the maker’s license on the record. Fan made is never in the catalogue: it may be posted for sale, with no price tracking and no market.

03 · The fan club

Members, with their consent.

Subscribing is the consent. The artist sees what each member chose to show — a handle, a city, what they hold publicly. No PII, never a BotShield ID, nothing from us.

The Tradepost

The seller keeps 100%.

Buy, sell and trade with the people who were at the show. Buyer fees only — 3.5% processing as a member, with $1 buyer protection if you want it; 10% without, no protection — and trades are free for members. Couchtour never holds your money. The chip on every account is BotShield Verified: received for linking, never earned by reviews.

Couchtour FAQ

Does BotShield see what I buy, or who I trade with?
No. Nothing that happens in Couchtour is stored in BotShield. BotShield witnesses the gate and says what happened there — a real person passed, once — and holds one link for Couchtour alone that cannot be matched to any other company.
Who holds the money?
Not Couchtour and not BotShield. Payment runs on Stripe’s rails; the seller keeps 100% and the buyer pays the fee. Couchtour never holds your money, and BotShield is not a party to the transaction.
Is a drop a race?
No. A drop is a window, then a draw. Every entry is a real person, once; the draw is sealed before it runs and cannot be picked afterwards; a winner gets a code to buy at the band’s store. A code left unredeemed goes back to the maker.
Can a stream link be shared?
A ticket opens one seat, with a passkey, for the person who paid. The stream plays inside rolling tokens, one session per person — a link forwarded to someone else opens nothing.
What does Couchtour pay BotShield?
The same meter as any partner: per check, on the plan it chose. Couchtour is one org with one key on the rails you can place yourself, and it pays nothing for a member who only reads.
Why is membership free?
Because the link is the floor, not the product. A member links once, for nothing, and from then on reacts, posts, lists and passes every gate as a real person. Couchtour earns on the shows, presales and drops it runs, and on the Tradepost’s buyer fee.
Does the artist get a list of fans?
They get their Fan club, with consent. Subscribing is the consent, and the artist sees what each member chose to show — a handle, a city, what they hold publicly. No PII, never a BotShield ID, and nothing from BotShield.

See it live.

Everything on this page runs on rails you can place yourself, today — one org, one key, the first gate free.
